Past and Present  

In partnership with the East Shore of Schroon Lake Association (ESSLA), the Schroon Lake Association currently shares the costs for biological tests at 16 sites in the lake each summer. Originally performed by volunteers from ESSLA and funded by the SLA, these tests are now performed by our Lake Manager and funded jointly by both lake associations.  We are continuing partnership this year in the Launch Ramp Project.  Many thanks to our friends in ESSLA (many of whom are also members of SLA!)

The Schroon Lake Association funds scientific studies of the lake.  To date we have funded, partially funded, or participated in the following studies; many of which will become part of the new Lake Management Master Plan.
